After attending 40+ AGMs and DSMs across Ontario, I heard the same message repeatedly: EDAs want clearer communication, stronger support, and more collaboration from National Council. My platform is built around three simple commitments — to Communicate, Connect, and Collaborate — so that every EDA feels informed, respected, and supported.

Connect— Strengthening Relationships Across the Party

Our strength comes from teamwork — between EDAs, MPs, volunteers, candidates, and communities. I am committed to helping build stronger bridges across the Party so we can all move in the same direction.

  • Support initiatives that connect EDAs to share best practices

  • Encourage greater women and youth participation in Party roles

  • Promote EDA–EDA and EDA–MP collaboration where appropriate

  • Advocate for tools that help new board members feel confident and supported

Communicate — Clear, Consistent, Two-Way Communication

One of the biggest frustrations EDAs face is uncertainty — unclear timelines, inconsistent messaging, and difficulty getting straightforward answers. As a National Councillor, I will support efforts to make communication simple, predictable, and transparent.

  • Support timely, plain-language updates from Council to EDAs

  • Encourage predictable timelines for rules, appeals, and decisions

  • Promote two-way communication channels so EDA concerns are heard early

  • Ensure no riding feels “out of the loop” during critical processes

Collaborate — Tools, Training, and Fair Processes

Volunteers deserve clear guidance and practical support. Whether it’s onboarding new board members or running nomination contests, EDAs should have access to resources that make their jobs easier — not harder.

  • Support ready-made tutorials, onboarding tools, and EDA 101 resources

  • Promote training for new board members so they feel prepared from day one

  • Advocate for simplified, practical compliance and governance guidance

  • Work with EDAs to help ensure nomination processes are open, fair, and transparent

  • Encourage sharing of templates, sample procedures, and best practices

A Stronger Ontario Starts With Stronger EDAs

These commitments reflect what I’ve heard directly from grassroots members across the province. I’m running to bring practical, steady, and transparent leadership to National Council — and I would be honoured to earn your support.
